That’s why a lot of bloggers created a series of articles trying to cover this topic from all angles. 

Over 123 million tweets responded to articles and blog posts about COVID-19 and coronavirus-related events.

60% of these tweets were in English, representing the huge impact COVID-19 had on blogging and social media.

72 million tweets related to COVID-19 articles and blog posts were published within a period of 2 months in 2020.

We’re talking about January 21, 2020, and March 21, 2020 time periods.  

Judging by all the latest COVID-19 statistics and having more and more people working from home, we can easily come to the conclusion that the number of new blogs has grown, as well as the number of new blog readers. 


What else is there to say about blogging in 2023? Our advice would be to start blogging right away, especially if you’re passionate about a particular domain or industry. Looking at the latest blogging statistics, chances are that you’re going to generate a lot of traffic.

Of course, it’s not going to be easy, as the world of blogging has always been an extremely competitive area, and that’s why you should focus on producing high-quality content above anything else, and the rest will follow.

Don’t start off a blog thinking just about the traffic and revenue it will be able to generate because blogging is a long-term process. It’s not about getting lucky with one viral article and then setting off into the sunset.
